The Borscht Film Festival will be unleashing its cinematic wonders upon us all on Saturday November, 28th at the Gusman Center, located on 174 E Flager St Miami, FL 33131 at 7pm. And more exciting still is the fact that it’s completely and utterly local filmmakers relating their Miami experiences. I am always one to give credit where credit is due, and I can identify with anyone taking on the task of putting Miami on the map for anything other than mindless house music and bedazzled jeans. The event is free and starts at 7 pm and goes on until midnight, highlighting those neighborhoods that maybe our own. But make sure to stay through the entire event as The Borscht is boasting all sorts of surprises to carry us through Art Basel. The Borscht Film Festival will be showcasing that experience that is unique to those of us who have lived here long enough to scrape beneath the surface; so come relate and discover.
