No matter age, gender or planet where you are from, everyone was attracted like bee to honey to the “Small Gift Exhibit.” Sanrio was celebrating it’s 50th anniversary and it came to Miami to let you know the mouthless kitten is yet not old. She and her friends are loved, and idolater by their fans from all over the world that attended this 4 day exhibit in Wynwood, Miami during Art Basel 2010.
The exhibit displayed works of some of the 50 most edgier, and hot artist of the century like Shepard Fairey, Niagara, Jason Alper, Adam Wallacavage, Mark Mothersbaugh, Richard Colman, Mike Shinoda and Seonna Hong, curated by Roger Gastman and Zio Fulcher. The Sanrio enthusiasts enjoyed a pop-up shop, a free tattoo parlor, product retrospective, sweet shop and magic tricks. Watta golden birthday party!
