Brian Butler, a graphic artist or “amateur cryptozoologist” –like he calls himself; with an obsession for miniature golf, music and ice cream people. After touring his home state Massachusetts accompanied with his wife and playing in every mini golf course, Butler started noticing a frozen underground movement that caught his creative gene: the existence of the Ice Cream People!
Butler started documenting the apeareance of his frozen lactose friends, and last week at KidRobot, he presented the exhibit “The Ice Cream People” A Collection of evidence. He showcased some of these half-human, half ice cream hybrids drawn from the stencils of artists like Shepard Fairey and Anthony Liester. A wall with a repeated waffle cone template was also displayed to invite the guests of this frozen experience to create their own ice cream friend. Yep- we are proving they are real!
WFK interviewed the man responsible for this gathering. See below Brian Butler through the Wasabi lens.
