March 7, 2011- Miami, FL – Wasabi Fashion Kult presents “Midsummer Night’s Dream” a living fashion sculpture show making it’s debut at CONTROL Salon’s “Lose Control” garden party. A fashion exhibit transformed into an enchanted garden party, where beautiful fairies dressed with Betsey Johnson and styled with the romance and poetic scent of a midsummer night’s dream will bring the garden into life. The magical scenery will be captured on Kazilla’s canvas as she paints the mystical creatures live.

Please join us for this fantasy event where fashion, music, and art dress the night. Other installations will be presented by Monica L. Travis, Zusel Escriba, Rachel Page, Jason Peterman. Music by DJ Caroline Geys (Off the Radar & Kill Your Idol,) Haitian Hillbilly, and Desiree.

NEW YORK DESIGNER BETSEY JOHNSON has built her long-standing career in fashion by following her own set of rules. Known for her celebration of the exuberant, the embellished, and the over the top, Betsey has been rocking the fashion industry with her unique and original designs since the 1960′s. Her commitment to remain true to her one-of-a-kind vision has afforded Betsey continued success in an industry known for its fickleness. Her ability to change with the times while keeping her designs pure has not gone unnoticed. At the 1999 CFDA Awards, Betsey was presented The Timeless Talent Award created especially for her, which recognized her influence on fashion throughout her career.

Kazilla aka Cassie Williams is a young artist who’s style bounds between the street arts and fine arts. Originally from Santa Fe, NM she currently exhibits the breadth of her work in Miami, FL. After moving to the east coast her work has transcended the street arts and combined her two styles of fine art and graffiti to create an edgy, colorful clash of two very different worlds. The feminine figures, surreal landscapes and vibrant colors create a daunting visual feast for all audiences. She also works as a live artist, designer, muralist, photographer, producer, lyricist, singer and musician.
