:: Italo Disco, The Dance Ritual

Let’s make a dance ritual to celebrate April’s heat. C’mon girl, get your hair loose, take your fancy stockings off, and start spinning around the room!

This month WFK will feature an exclusive cutting-edge selection of Italo Disco songs from now and then.  “Italo what?” you say. Yes, Italo Disco – those futuristic, spacey and bizarre songs that where really popular back in the 80’s European club scene.

Let me put you in the picture… one day producer Bernhard Mikulski, the founder of German-based ZYX Music, decided to called all those German and Italian electro pop songs that where kicking ass in European pop charts “Italo Disco”.  Almost two decades later bands like Glass Candy, The Golden Filter, Chromatics and many more were inspired by these flashing beats and decided to continue the legacy of these euro pop antiheroes with a XXI century touch.

Now WFK is combining all these tunes in one single playlist…. have fun!!!

Here is the Music Player. You need to installl flash player to show this cool thing!
