What: MOD Media is proud to announce that MOD Swim Week is back for its second year, and ready to make a splash hit on the runways of Miami Beach! MOD SWIM 2012 is a weekend event sponsored by Designer Skin Tanning Products during Miami Swim Week, consisting of gifting suites, fashion shows with top designers and high-profile after parties. Taking place at the ever so glamorous Sagamore, The Art Hotel, MOD SWIM will take over the Rooftop Penthouse hosting a VIP gifting lounge (invitation only, rsvp a must) as well as an array of swim shows on the outside terrace. Guests and fashionistas alike will get a chance to view the hottest swimsuit trends for the summer. The weekend will kick off with a Betsey Johnson Dadeland Boutique Summer fashion show produced by Wasabi Fashion Kult on Friday, July 15^th, 2011 at 7:00pm. Strutting the runways on Saturday is the premiere swim collection by Mariana London at 7:00pm, Keva by Keva J 5th Ave Chic runway show at 4:00pm on Sunday July 17th, 2011 and closing out MOD SWIM WEEK that evening be a show stopping experience by WE ARE HANDSOME at 7:00pm.

Hosting our events at one convenient location will offer our designers and guests a more intimate and personal experience as we look to host three days of runway shows, and a private celebrity gifting suite. Our exclusive guests, including press, buyers, media, and VIPS, will have a first hand look at the next season of swimwear, while enjoying the beautiful views from the Sagamore rooftop penthouse,” says Christine Henry.

The oceanfront Sagamore Hotel, located in the heart of South Beach within walking distance off of Lincoln Road, has been dubbed The Art Hotel for its collection of world-renowned contemporary art, known as the Cricket Taplin Collection.
