Bears, claws, rats and traps are the symbols of expression for Amsterdam, indie label “bird&gray.” A combination of loose silhouettes splashed with color and juxtaposed with random elements printed in black on a white background.
bird&gray starts off with its men’s and women’s collection “A Mighty Forest,” a 5-segment collection offering the girls 30 bears and 30 rats, and the boys 30 traps and 30 claws items.
What happens in b&g, is that they hand print, hand splash and then hand cut each shirt to make it in its very own way. Unique! Playing with the elements above, they create 30 pieces “alike but not the same.”
The rats and bears come in flowy A-bottom beaters, wing-sleeve Ts, and round-necks for the ladies. As for the traps and claws, they are offered in men’s beaters and round necks as well.
bird&gray is that sunset picture captured with a Hipstamatic and blueberry flash.
