Uno de los festivales más convocantes de Argentina cerró su séptima edición con una grilla de artistas nacionales e internacionales de primera línea. Entre los pasados viernes y sábado 70 mil personas y decenas de músicos pasaron por el Personal Fest realizado en el GEBA sede San Martín.
Sonic Youth, The Strokes, The Kills, INXS, Beady Eye, White Lies, Calle 13 y La Mala Rodriguez estuvieron entre las principales atracciones. En el escenario nacional, El Mató a Un Policía Motorizado, Poncho, Massacre, Viva Elástico y 107 Faunos representaron las principales tendencias de la música local.
Entre los momentos emblemáticos y más esperados de esas dos noches estuvieron el show de los Strokes, luego de su momentanea separación y presentando las canciones de su último disco, Angles; y el regreso de los emblemáticos Sonic Youth al país luego de que sea anunciado el divorcio de los líderes de la banda Thurstoon Moore y Kim Gordon, lo que podría poner en peligro el futuro de una de las bandas ícono del rock alternativo. Otro de los actos que más expectativas despertó fue Beady Eye, el proyecto paralelo de cantante de Oasis, quienes se presentaron por primera vez en la Argentina.

Between last Friday and Saturday, 70,000 people attended the seventh edition of Personal Fest. Festival that took place in Buenos Aires with the performances of some of the biggest names of the music world, Strokes, Sonic Youth, The Kills, INXS, Beady Eye, White Lies, Calle 13, La Mala Rodriguez, amongst others. On the national stage, Poncho, El Mató a Un Policía Motorizado, Massacre, Viva Elástico and 107 Faunos represented the Argentinean music scene.
The most intense moments were when the Strokes went up on stage to perform their classics and some of the songs included on their latest album, Angles. Sonic Youth did their thing as well, making the crowd go insane playing for the second time in Argentina and the first after the divorce of Thurstoon Moore and Kim Gordon was announced. Beady Eye, Liam Gallagher’s new band, was also received with enthusiasm while playing in Buenos Aires for the first time.
