The French-pop princess made Buenos Aires shake and now she will be hitting Miami on December 2nd with a show at the Fillmore.
After the international success of her first album, Pop-Up, Yelle is back with a sharper record, Safari Disco Club, full of songs that blend experience with the colorful -naïve but feminist electropop that she introduced to the world in 2007.
Last Sunday, singer, dancer, actress and fashionist, Julie Budet – AKA Yelle – gave a terrific show at El Teatro de Colegiales in Buenos Aires. Arround 10 pm Yelle went up on stage joined by producers GrandMarnier (Jean-Francois Perrier) and Tepr (Tanguy Destable), dressed in the same hoodie coat that she wears on the cover of her latest album.
In the set, that lasted around an hour and a half, the trio played most of their new songs including the single “Safari Disco Club” and of course all their hits such as “Je Veux Te Voir” –first known as “Short Dick Cuizi” referring to the French rapper Cuizinier – and the tecktronic anthem “A Cause Des garcons.”

La princesa del pop francés hizo vibrar Buenos Aires y llegará a Miami el 2 de diciembre.
Después del éxito internacional del su álbum debut, Pop –Up, Yelle vuelve con Safari Disco Club, un disco de canciones que combinan el electropop colorido, inocente y feminista que la hizo famosa en 2007 con un sonido más sólido y detallado.
El domingo pasado la cantante, bailarina, actriz y fashionista Julie Budet (más conocida como Yelle) dio un show lleno de energía en el Teatro de Colegiales de Buenos Aires. Cerca de las 10 de la noche subió al escenario acompañada por los músicos y productores GrandMarnier (Jean-Francois Perrier) y Tepr (Tanguy Destable) encapuchada con el mismo traje con el que se la ve en la tapa de su nuevo disco.
En el recital, que duró hora y media, el trío tocó la mayoría de sus nuevos temas incluyendo el sencillo “Safari Disco Club” y los infaltables “Je Veux Te Voir” (originalmente llamado “Short Dick Cuizi” haciendo referencia al rapero francés Cuizinier) y el himno del tecktonik “A Cause Des garcons”.
