La banda de disco-punk neoyorkina presentó en Palermo Groove, de Capital Federal, su más reciente disco:“In the grace of your love”, y repasó todos los hits que los dieron a conocer a principios del 2000.
“Carca”, con su inconfundible porte de rockero setentoso fue el encargado de inaugurar la noche acompañado por sus músicos y un set de canciones bien rockeras como “Adolescente boogie” y “Príncipe oscuro”.
Cerca de las 10 de la noche, la banda liderada por Luke Jenner subió al escenario y los teclados del multinstrmentista, y ocasional bailarín, Gabriel Andruzzi empezaron a emitir los primeros beats de “In The grace of Your Love”. En un show de poco diálogo pero canciones ininterrumpidas The Rapture hizo vibrar a más de 1.200 personas con los infaltables “Echoes”, “Get myself into it”, “Pieces of the people we love” y con los nuevos “Sail Away” y “Miss you”.
Después de los bises, el primer y arrollador sencillo de su último disco “How deep is your love?“ fue el encargado de cerrar una noche perfecta para los que pasan el verano en la ciudad.

The disco-punk band from New York performed in Palermo Groove –Buenos Aires- were they played all the songs from their new album, “In the grace of your love”, and all the hits that made them popular in the beginnings of their career.
“Carca”, with his unique 70’s rockstar style, was in charged of the opening act. Along with his band he placed a set of powerful songs such as “Adolescente boogie” and “Príncipe oscuro”.
Near 10 pm, the band leaded by Luke Jenner went up on stage. The keyboard of the multinstrumentist and occasional dancer, Gabriel Andruzzi started playing the first beats of “In The grace of Your Love”. In a show with only a little talk but nonstop music, The Rapture made more than 1.200 people dance with the classics “Echoes”, “Get myself into it”, “Pieces of the people we love” and the new “Sail Away” and “Miss you”.
For the encore, the first and astonishing single from their latest album “How deep is your love?” closed a perfect night for the ones spending this hot hot summer in the city of Buenos Aires.
