One of UK’s most unique bands will be performing at Grand Central this coming Saturday. Ladytron will be playing for the very first time in Miami the songs of their recently released album,  “Gravity the Seducer”.

Mixing synth-pop, shoegaze and indie-pop, Ladytron earned a decade’s worth of acclaim by relentlessly pushing boundaries, carving out new sonic and conceptual space and refusing to abide any formula or trend. Gravity The Seducer comes on the heels of their retrospective, Best Of Ladytron: 00-10 and represents a remarkable evolution in the evocative yet precise pop fashioned by Hunt and bandmates Reuben Wu, Helen Marnie and Mira Aroyo.

Ladytron recorded Gravity The Seducer in Kent’s countryside, with co-producer Barny Barnicott (Artic Monkeys, Kasabian, Editors) at the helm. For the album , the band wanted a grander sound, incorporating more baroque elements. Fans can expect the new tracks to be dreamy, romantic, beautiful, and lush.

“’Gravity the Seducer’ is more of a jump than the last album was, more ethereal & melodic, a touch more abstract in places than we’ve gone before, baroque ‘n’ roll. It was a pleasure to make, took us right through last summer. It’s our best record in my opinion,” says Daniel Hunt.

Saturday night gig will be the last show of Ladytron’s North America fall tour in support of their recently released album.
